This highly used gathering space and living room needed a makeover to bring style but keep functionality for an active child. Capitalizing on an abundance of natural light, we chose to bring in the outdoors with light and airy elements. The open floor plan required a logical traffic pattern and pieces of furniture rather than a sectional for optimal flow. We accessorized rustic style with a mill elevator mirror above the fireplace and a custom console table, then chose pieces that added storage for quick toy pickup. The unique Lee industries double chaise is now the husbands favorite seat in the house.
